Hi all,
Here are some pics and comments regarding an upcoming Gothic Jetbike from Maxmini, note that the foot stirrups will be adjustable! Seems to be a lot less Sapce Marine than most of the others currently circulating, which could be a good thing for some people. Here is a new project I've been working on for several months: a Gothic Jetbike! The main goal was to get something really gothic, a bit archaic too, but also technologic looking. The initial concept: ![]() And the 3D model: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As you can see it, the design changed a bit, especially some details. The toe-clip is adjustable, mounted on a rail, to fit your models easily. Obviously, this model is separated in several pieces for the production, so this will be a real kit, easy to assemble but also to convert! It was so amazing to design it, I hope you'll like this stuff! morbäck Cheers Dono -------------------- |

That looks damn cool and pretty smart too, I can see its ancestry, but its not using any GW parts at all unlike the Chapterhouse model.

Don't like it. I agree with Anton too much this week. It's very CAD-designed looking and has a few parts (the guns, exhaust and the cogs under the seat in particular) that don't really fit the rest of the design. -------------------- |[TENABRAE]|40k|[Hive Fleet Dryad]|[Feral Angels]|infinity|[Yu Jing]|alkemy|[Aurlock Nation]|

I like it. Can't imagine what I'd ever use it for, but it's certainly cool.

Well its quite obviously meant to fit in with Sammeal on Jetbike for a Space Marine bike army...

Well its quite obviously meant to fit in with Sammeal on Jetbike for a Space Marine bike army... Or can be used as alternate Bikes for a Space Marine army. In addition due to the adjustable foot stirups you could use other models with them, like IG rough riders or suchlike. -dono -------------------- |

It's pretty cool, but not much use to me, since I don't play Gay Workshop.

I quite like it, agree with some of the inconsistencies, but like it anyway.
I am thinking with a few very minor alterations it could make a really cool BFG ship as well -------------------- Armies

I agree that the exhaust is quite bulky and mechanically speaking poorly placed, but I see a great potential in adding to the bike iconography/weapons swaps/exhaust adjustment to make these some really characterful models.
They get my vote, especially as pre-heresy alternates...just have to figure out how to make a hover attack bike... -Kendall |

They get my vote, especially as pre-heresy alternates...just have to figure out how to make a hover attack bike... Does the attack gun have to have someone shooting it? Is that in the rules now? If YES: Hae them standing on a platform behind the driver's seat, with a mounted gun. This way it doesn't add a random weight onto the side. If NO: Big-ass gun, either over the driver's head, around the sides (two smaller twin link guns) or underslung. Again, the key thing here is not to disturb the aerodynamics of the bike. -------------------- Mate I'll pay MONEY to sit there and watch Jose get Whupped..Never seen someone lose which such style! For my blacktemplars I used one style as regular bikes and Kromlech style as Attack bikes as they are bulkier. -Dono -------------------- |
