I have this new idea for a list. Well it's more a variation on something true and tested. I think it's a scary and a 'shark'.

The Skorne Facebook group isn't so sure.

You be the judge - thoughts??

War Room Army

Skorne - E morghoul 50 pts (2)

56 / 56 (50+6) Warlock(s) : 1/1 Warbeast(s) : 4 Battle Engines : 0 Solos : 2 Units : 3

Lord Assassin Morghoul - WB: +6
- Archidon - PC: 7
- Cyclops Brute - PC: 5

Tyrant Zaadesh - PC: 3
- Mammoth - PC: 20
- Cyclops Raider - PC: 5
Mortitheurge Willbreaker - PC: 2

Nihilators - Leader & 9 Grunts: 8
Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 3
Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer - Tyrant and Standard: 3

For the record, I think Zaadesh will be extremely hard to put down with casual force.

If they are smart and kill off your Mammoth and stay outside of that juicy 10.5" bubble of assassination and roll a colossal what are you going to do? because that thing is going to destroy everything.

eMorghoul is a list I am juggling at the moment but if you arent auto-including something to do the heavy lifting if you cant get the assassination off you are going to be in trouble.

Suggestions would include Molik Khan or Bronzeback because obvious destructive qualities.

I would prefer to see the Brute on Zaadesh but I can see why you cannot.

Mammoth feels wasted without someone to tap Gang off.

Will not bring anything super surprising to the table, but it is certainly not a terrible option.

Give us all some insight as to why you think this list is going to catch people out. I'm curious.

One day Simon, that will be your epitaph...

Kind of like Lylith three i guess ?

I think it's a common misconception that he 'requires' Molik.

If fact going one stpe further i think the notion that things are 'required' is the worst elements of group think and probably why a lot of lists in a lot of con's feel same same and the genesis of new lists is really low.

@Doom - well in answer to your question, what if I'm smart, and don't let them...

@Souix - The brute is mostly on Morghoul for the ability to self cast safe guard which is obviously very handy. Having a reach beast on Zaadesh to help trigger gang would be good for sure. If it comes to it though, the raider running his 12 inches is as reliable as anything given the mammoth's reach can cover the base differential.

You're right it probably doesn't bring anything new to the table - a flurry of mammoth shots is nothing to sneaze at though - and depending on the match Morgs can lock down any heavies until Mammoth gets around to them.
There really probably should be a soul ward in there though for that strategy.

@Staks - I can't say i remember, Despite his humble appearance Morgs does actually bring a lot of really useful tools to the table. Almost everybody under estimates that.

@ Simon - you're a tool... Which i'm sure you knowingly love smile.gif.

I was totally going to post that same meme when I saw you had updated the thread.

God I love me.
