I like turtles, but fish are cool too.

I should probably state that my absence from 40k tourneys in the last few years has been due to rising costs, poor game design and power creep. Not bewbs.

Someone doesn't like the content of a thread because they feel it is irrelevant to them so they post their opinion without a care in the world that their opinion is irrelevant to so many others. So many other threads to look at here but they keep coming back to this one just to make it perfectly clear they don't think it should have started thus continuing to keep it going. armata_PDT_08.gif

I find this thread entirely appropriate for WAU.

Exactly why can't a man just have his peace?!

Why do ppl have to say how much they disagree with it, despite how irrelevant their comments are?!

If you don't like it/don't agree with it. Then please don't reply.

If the start of this thread helped someone clear the conscience then I can support that, and I will support him/her as well.

If there were more bewbs at 40k tourneys I might find a reason to go.

Yes, I reply to a lot of threads with images. That's because your posts are crap, and don't deserve anything more than a cursory Google image search.

There are lots of bewbs at tournaments, just not so many women.

Bloody autocorrect, who cares how many beans there are tournaments.

The funny thing about this thread (in my estimation) it was directed mostly at the QLD gamers Fof knows personally, but doesn't see as much outside of tourneys so they knoew why he wasn't around as much. (I know Fof and talk to him, play games against him socially).

The most intrusive opinions are all not from QLD and dont know him personally. It always makes me wonder why certain cities breed social "culture" in certain directions. It does seem to come up strongly in certain directions.

You can support them if you like. People can question them too. Here's the thing, it's been posted in a general forum. So far, people have been pretty reasonable I would think, all things considered. Personally, I find the whole thing rather distasteful and childish, but it's not my relationship I guess. If it works for them, good on em, but don't post an open letter in a forum and expect everyone to pat you on the back.

My wife's glued to this thread and laughing harder than me.

Not just at the OP of course. At everyone.

She keeps coming out to the shed and giving me updates. It's all we see of each other since I took up competitive 40K again.

I don't have to write letters though. We mostly just yell at each other, and we're fine again. But every relationship is different.

Because it's abundantly clear that these two have relationship issues and the place to fix those issues is not an open letter on a public forum.

Sigh, people are welcome to their opinions.

It does not concern me that others not known to me have different views or don't overly understand the reason for posting, my wife's feelings were paramount here and she is happy with what I have done - hami you were pretty close to the mark, words mean nothing without actions.

My wife whilst reading this particular thread is not overly conversant with Wau or how threads usually go.

As I said originally I wasn't sure this was the right place for it but it would have to suffice to reach the majority of people I wanted it to and to provide a public apology to my wife.

I thank those for the positive comments as does my wife.

There is of course more to this than posted but that is between my wife and I. On that topic I will explain further to those I know deem relevant to know.

On that I think the topic has achieved what I wanted so the mods can close it.
