I might just have to get myself one of these starter boxes...

In that video that Tony posted, which faction is doing the "attacking"? I instantly fell in love with the giant suit with all the little baby "army robotic rat" things (the #### ones), I even went "aawwww" when they were getting destroyed!!!! LOL!!!

That Video was pretty cool. Not an Infinity video though rolleyes.gif

Most factions have Remotes (Drones) which are very, very cool biggrin.gif

Does any faction in particular have more drones than the others?

Nomads can have more drones than, or in one case, equal number of drones to each other faction, but you'd be unlikely to take them all very often, they also have the best hackers and catgirl nurses.

Pan Oceanic can take the same number of drones, and have more TAG's (which are the really heavy mecha suit things) but they're also quite expensive, so you're less likely to field as many of them at a time. they do, however, have the option of having a TAG lead your force, which the nomads cannot do, which means it's possible (if, i imagine, somewhat foolish) to have a purely remote controlled force, with no humans present.

Pan O have 4 different types of drones, which they can take 2 of each (the types being standard combi rifle drones, walking hmg gun turrets, guided missile drones, and walking relay stations to improve hacker range (all the drones come with that ability, but those have only it, and no real weapons to speak of) while Nomads have 5 drone types, 3 of which you can have 2 of, and 2 that you can have only one, they have the same types as the PanO drones, but they can only have 1 of the guided missile drones, but what they get instead is the ability to buy a combi rifle drone that combat drops (ie: deep strikes) into the battlefield, and can act as a forward observer to guide in the missiles from the other drone.

models can be seen via http://www.infinitythegame.com

I think Pan Oceania is looking good at this stage... I like the look of their big lads aswell as the little Drones smile.gif

I couldn't find a pic of any other Factions "Big lads"? Were they there and I need to look harder?

there are a few. PanO have 2 currently out (Cutter and Armoured Cavalry) Nomads have 1 (Szalamandra) Yu Jing have 1 (Guijia) and the combine have 2 too (the avatar and the caskuda) the haqqislam have one (the maghariba guard) but ariadna don't have mecha, so bollocks to them XD (actually, i really like ariadna too >.> )
nomads, combine, and PanO both have some yet to be released (1, 1 and 2 respectively) but the others dont

[edited to confirm, and include the damned caskuda, which i had repressed the memory of)

i must admit, that the szalamandra is looking better the more i look at it. it's a pity the haqqislam remotes are rare, cause i'd like an army with lots of them (its got chicken legs!!!)

I must say that i'm liking the look of this game. If I had to chose a faction it would be the Haqqislam, like the T.A.G. like the remotes and like the kum bikers.

Might have to get into it soon if I can convince the guy I game with.

Just got back from MG's with an Ariadna Starter Pack, Antipode Assault pack, Scout with E/Mauler and a pair of Highlander Rifles. Hmmm model coolness!

Huzza!

Van is still there as well as that rather awkward minute man guy and the Doc. Otherwise Matt said the new shipment of stuff should be there this week. smile.gif
