It's undercoated and ready to be painted. Just need to work on an eye popping scheme.

Better get on it!
P.S. Does a Dreadnought count as a vehicle/warmachine? I guess if a Warmachine Warjack counts it probably does... -------------------- Sync's Wargaming Blog: http://descent-of-angels.blogspot.com.au/

@sync, I like the base colour and the tidy painting, but (at the risk of alienating the only other entrant) the metal work and the marine pack look unfinished. I think the pack needs some more variation in colour and the metal would look more realistic if it were toned down with a wash or two - it is looking a bit too shiny for a chaos dreadnought. Nice work on the base.

Steve Appreciate the constructive criticism Steve Looking at it now, it is quite shiny for a Chaos vehicle, and a little toned down highlighting, heavier washing and possibly some weathering would have brought this beast to the next level! -------------------- Sync's Wargaming Blog: http://descent-of-angels.blogspot.com.au/

The appointed time has passed so it is time to declare the winner - me. I did once mention that I would happily award myself a prize didn't I? With only two entrants the choices were somewhat limited and I feel that Sync's dreadnought was not quite up to the same standard as his Hordes beastie that won the first round.
To those who have not finished their modern + vehicle, feel free to post pics in this thread when you have finished - I know I want to see those land raiders and necron flyers completed and suspect others do too. Steve |

Finally - was banned five days for spamming this around to the different out-of-town clubs. Farking inconsistent approach, our friendly admins. Whatever - wont do that again.
Anyway - think your tank was great, Steve - well deserved win. Will post pictures once I get the crusader sorted - didn't manage to get it done. Cya, Andrew. -------------------- Active member of the NSW Northern Knights Wargaming Club
