Yep, I will second that. A fantastic tournament with a great bunch of people and a good variety of armies. Jason, you always do a bang up job as TO so I look forward to next year with a new Army in tow.

In addition I would like to thank everyone who voted for me for the Players Choice. It's the first time I have ever won one so I am very appreciative that my paintwork got your votes. biggrin.gif

cheers lads for the event. I'm very happy with a personal best and am a fan of the smaller size games for some crazy reason.

Gratz on the painting mate. They are the best smurfs I have seen to date

Getting in before me this time aye?

Indeed, Cheers!

I aimed for top 10, got 10th, aimed for 20 point everage, got 22 point average. Very happy!

Terrain was good too which was a big bonus.

Congrats to place getters (damn Wolves tongue.gif) and everyone else and Thanks to Jason.

You got home quick mate! tongue.gif

I loved your tactics though... "I sent wave after wave of my own men at them..."

Had a great time. The one #### game I had didn't cast a shadow over the rest of the weekend wink.gif

Thanks Jason for your kick-arseness!

Congratulations to all the people who also demonstrated bad-assery, and thanks for coming to everyone else! Big tournaments are awesome. Can't do them without everyone, and you learn a ######e-load!

PS - Next time, I thoroughly encourage trying to land Rexona (or somebody like that) as a sponsor, and getting sample BO-basher sticks to hand out. I know that traditionally gamers have a funk, but that room was getting funky enough that Rick James woulda had a hard time standing out in there by the end of the weekend armata_PDT_07.gif

That asside, thanks again! Kick arse and take names!

Yeah thanks Jason, I always wonder how I'll cope with your megagaming weekends and yet I always seem to come out the other side with a huge cheese-eating grin!

You'd think with the literally hundreds of practice games I get vs. Julian might mean I build up some skill against him, but I was hopeless at trying to slow down his walk-through the event (and the carnage he left behiond of our armies). Well done mate!

I sort of wanted to repeat last year's come-from behind win, but as usual I'm really just astocked to make the make top-ten, and I got 6th... so very happy and not really dissappointed. Besides, I noticed on my scoring that it was battle where I dropped the most points, so I just need to lern to play better, right?

And my comp was delightful, I'm glad my opponents felt it was a nice army, that's one of the reasons I brought it.

Infermofperpus - Man that was a stand out best army in the room. Very neat work and a delight to play against, even if Sicarius will not die and steals my initiative! smile.gif

Soundwave, at my table you copped it pretty hard and yet we still both left the table smiling. I'd love another game.

AJenko - another brilliant, awesome, to the wire game. I really thought I had you, but someone turned my guns off for the last 3 turns and your Scout was able to hold on for the match! I definitely meant it when I said you're fast becoming my favorite opponent because we just have such awesome close games!

And for all my other opponents. I *thouroughly enjoyed* all my games, even if some of them went pear shaped and a hint of "the sad panda face" began to show, I got over such things quickly because I was playing gents who know how to play fun, even while smashing opponent.... smile.gif

I'm going to miss the Mechanicus, but I can't see myself going past the first love for the next year or so either!

The nail bitters are always the best (and memorable) games. May just have to call a grudge next year to settle the score..... Death Korps v Dark Eldar perhaps?
