Sweet report! you had a solid plan and it worked.
I really should have wandered the crabs over to my baseline objective to contest it and play for another turn, but alas I completely forgot that you were holding it at the end of third and left them on overwatch.

My terminators and daemon prince being obliterated by 6 tactical marines and some land raiders in assault was a shocker!! But that's how the game goes, the amount of dice you throw can make up for how elite the troops you are fighting in many cases- the battle plan is only as solid as the next dice roll ;-) You had well supported engagements with the multiple units setting up the crossfires and supporting fire, so I hope you have got the gist of how to play and enjoy the system.

Getting there mate and thanks again. I've met up with frogbear since and had a close stouch with him (though I've the feeling he let me off on more than one occasion which I both liked and felt kinda bad about at the same time)
The mailman's delivered two international parcel cards while I was away on training yesterday and today so MAYBE my Marines have arrived.
You're welcome to drop into mine if you'd like a game (next Monday I'm out and this weekend is Floodwars, though) so stay in touch yea?
And I'm signed up for the tournament, too, which should be fun as well. And a chance to get a few games in which will offer different options
Ciao bello!
S.
