Thanks Brad (Trip) for a awesome masters event, and a massive weekend away.

Thanks to good games, Brad's family & partner, John, Mike and anyone else I missed.

My opponents, Jason, Scott, Tim, Tom & Leigh.

Congratulations to Matt, Jeff, Tim and Dennis on their awards. They were all well deserved. armata_PDT_34.gif

I also want to thank my opponents:

Jeff - You know, that I know, that everybody knows those deathstrikes saved your arse armata_PDT_02.gif

Stacey - I was basically outgunned. Those hydras punched holes through me.

Leigh - Fun game but I didn't appreciate the curse of the dreaded two's on my dice.

Scott - Sorry mate, one of us had to win. Glad it was me armata_PDT_14.gif

Neil - Those fiends ripped me a new one. You rolled those invulnerables and covers like a boss.

In the unlikely event I make the cut next year, I won't be taking such a ordinary list. I better get painting.

Lastly, thanks to Brad and Good Games for a smooth and well run event. armata_PDT_37.gif

Indeed, fantastic event. Never expected i'd place, I just wanted to do better than 7th.

Congrats to my placing buddy Tim, best sport: Denis and of course, Matt.

Thanks brad for organising everything, i'll be in later in the week.

And thanks to my enemies opponents! Good games all round.

Agreed.

Was a well run event, the field of 16 this year made it even more interesting, quality of opposition was huge, and also was great to see WA representation, and more from SA and Vic this year smile.gif

I think everyone involved had a great time, and thats what is important. Cheers especially to Tim, Josh, Jeff (2 years in a row now round 3!!), Shaun and Jason!

Thanks again Brad,

the organised accom+ food+ travel to and from the airport to the venue+accom made this an extremely easy, comfortable and slick event to attend.

Couldn't recommend it enough! if only the Nightlife wasn't so eventful wink.gif armata_PDT_05.gif armata_PDT_11.gif armata_PDT_14.gif armata_PDT_36.gif armata_PDT_34.gif a few had a little more "fun" than others.

thanx to everyone involved, had a great weekend and really hope to score an invite next year.

Big thanx to all my oponents, Luke, Abadon (I mean Tom), Scott, Neil, and Stacy.

Once again, had a great weekend and think the calibre of player at the event was fantastic.

Big congrats to Matt for coming over and showing us Easterners how to play the game.

Thanks very much for a fantastic event, Brad. Everything went smoothly and it felt well organised the whole way through.
Thanks also to John, and Krefey and everyone else involved.

I will add a thanks to Tom (Buddah) for his wise advise on how to build a comp-list before the tournament ("You're screwed either way so take what you're comfortable with").

I should also thank my opponents Jeff, Neil, Dave, Dennis and Tim for some very challenging games of 40K. Hope to see you their next year!

Yes, the rest of you have me to blame smile.gif

I was pretty sure you were going to end up making concessions you may have been disappointed in and then received the same Comp score anyway, so it was rather futile! Still, you did take that Mortar tongue.gif

Thanks Trip for running the Masters.

Only one comment - Can we have more terrain on the table next year. It was a little too open for most table.

I only found the Ice table to be a real problem. Especially considering my army relies on terrain a little more than some. I found it sufficient for the most part.

The ice table (I played Scott) and the farm table (I played Matt) was quite open. The large buildings (I played Jason) was too big. The desert was good, so was the one I played against David Fleming.
