It shouldn't really need saying again, but here goes:

DO NOT post links or blatant 'hints' about how to get hold of pirated material on WargamerAU.

In most cases, this will result in your post being deleted and your account being suspended for 30 days. If you've been given warnings for similar material in the past, you may be permanently banned from this site.

If this comes as a suprise to you, I recommend reading the forum rules.

If in doubt read the b@#$dy rule book

"I prefer the hybrid 'Baal Breaker Squad'. Two big red Baals and a nice thick gun driving up the middle, able to slap into the flanks and penetrate deep and hard, releasing their massive payload into the faces of your unlucky foes.
If you're BA, you've put your Baals on the table."
--Galahad_Knight, referring to a "squad" of two baals and a vindicator.

Alerting people that pirated copies of new rulebooks have become available on peer to peer networks falls under the 'blatant hint' heading, even if you don't mention the P2P networks. Everyone knows where to look nowadays.

Serious question:

What is the policy on miniature manufactuerers who make their own designs which can be used with GW stuff?

Eg, a twin rotary cannon turret system that "fits" on most popular 28mm scale vehicles.

And I did read the rules (Just then to refresh myself again.)

Also, I do not buy any ilegal copies of minis, but am interested in what some designers are putting forward as LEGAL alternatives.

(Also now playing with my new 3D printer.)

Comments will be either as my role of Organiser of Cancon/Wintercon, or as a player of various games and maker of stuff. If any post I make does not make sense in one context, try the other.

Well, unless GW wins vs Chapterhouse Studios, that' is legit. They are still sponging off of GW's work, but the items they are making are still their own work, even if heavily influenced by GW work.
