If the even is no longer to be held at Gosford Hobbies, who/where can we buy tickets from?

A few of us from Orange are making plans on trekking up for this, could we get someone to get us tickets, and we pay them on the day/do a direct deposit into their bank account?

Tickets will be sold through the Central Coast Corsairs wargaming club. You will be able to direct deposit to their account.

The plan always was that tickets would go on sale from Dec 1, and I think that it is still likely to be available by then.

I had hoped to get an updated Players Pack with the new ticketing details up by today. Unfortunately my wife was in hospital over the weekend which has delayed things by a couple of days.

Watch this space.

I assure you, and am certain that everyone here feels the same - family comes first Mark. This is just a hobby. Best wishes, hope she gets well soon!

The updated players pack can be downloaded from http://www.gosfordgamers.net/events/index.htm. This has all the information about the change of venue and how to purchase tickets.

The updated players pack also has full mission information, and there is no intention of providing a separate Mission Pack.

Just a reminder to all players and interested parties that the event is two weeks from today, ie Saturday Jan 16th.

Army lists are due one week from now, ie Saturday Jan 9th.

Also the Players Pack listed Damien Carter as one of the TOs. He came on board as cover for me when there was risk that work was going to send me overseas for the weekend of the event. This has been ruled out so Damien is going to take part as a normal player. His involvement to date on the organising side of things has not given him any advantages (eg he has not seen anyone else's army lists).

Regards

Army lists are due tomorrow (Saturday).

Also note that we are nearly sold out, and don't have visibility yet of anyone who might have purchased tickets today. If you anyone is still interested in coming you should contact us before paying.

Hi players

Thanks for taking part in the Gosford Shield yesterday and helping to make it a fantastic event.

I'd like to thank the Central Coast Corsairs with helping us for arranging the hall hire, covering the bond, organising the insurance, setting up the hall and cleaning it up afterwards. I'd also like to thank Good Games Gosford and Games Workshop for their generous prize support. Thanks are also due to Darren and Noel for helping to plan and run the event, and Pete from the Corsairs for dealing with the financials, and those who brought terrain.

The results from the tournament are online at http://www.gosfordgamers.net/events/index.htm.

Planning for the Gosford Shield 2011 will probably start in August. In the mean time you can look forward to the events such as the C-4 (Central Coast Corsairs Championships) which will be held in the same venue on March 13th.

The results from the Gosford Shield will be added to the 40K Rankings in the next couple of days.

Regards

Mark C
