Hey all,

Just wanted to get some reactions towards the new Sisters rules (part 1, with part 2 next month).

Personally I'm loving the new Acts of Faith and Shield of Faith rules, and the inclusion once again of Confessor models properly and named characters.

Only downfall I've found is the Battle Conclaves, but hopefully the September issue will address my early concerns.

Wait for points. It's too early to say yet.

worst piece of poo that is every printed by GW so far.

Faith that is not even scalable cries out the lack of thought put into this.
Remove anything that was considered good (e.g. immo) to a crap status.

Good bye sisters. thanks for coming.

You're new aren't you?

Pending points costs, and amazing wargear, the army is looking to be about as good as Necrons with overall less flexibility and horrible units. It's kinda like playing IG without the long range weapons and the ability to reduce your KP's.

Statistically Sisters will be worse than Necrons in both shooting and HtH, unless they cost less than 9 points a model.

It will be available as a download in two months. If you want to look at it earlier; buy the WD's

As for worst piece of poo; haven't seen it yet but having compared to Necrons is certainly peaking my interest.

Due to the lack of longer ranged weapons, the army still needs to operate mainly in rapid fire range, but due to the smegged AoF rules, they don't have the punch to knock out the enemy quickly(Divine Guidance) or the ability to survive the counter attack(Spirit of the Martyr).

Some have already seen the armylist due to it being translated into other languages for other regions WD's and they are not inspired.

IDK, I think they're actually pretty good. Lack of new models that kills it otherwise I'd be tempted.

I do like the heavy Ecclesiarchy tone of what I've seen.

Penitent Engines are nastier which makes me happy.

u like to buy 1000s dollars worth of metal to carry? and to suck on?
I rather spend money on things that are fluffy AND useful.

Maybe if they make all codex suck donkeys, it will just be balance (everyone sucks at the same level).

Well I must be a begger for punishment - had a pile of sisters sitting here for a while and am determined to get something out of them - there is a few things I don't mind but generally uninspired - still thats the challenge I guess.

At least should get better comp than my BAs or GKs.
