Hey all,
Just wanted to get some reactions towards the new Sisters rules (part 1, with part 2 next month). Personally I'm loving the new Acts of Faith and Shield of Faith rules, and the inclusion once again of Confessor models properly and named characters. Only downfall I've found is the Battle Conclaves, but hopefully the September issue will address my early concerns. -------------------- |

Pending points costs, and amazing wargear, the army is looking to be about as good as Necrons with overall less flexibility and horrible units. It's kinda like playing IG without the long range weapons and the ability to reduce your KP's. Statistically Sisters will be worse than Necrons in both shooting and HtH, unless they cost less than 9 points a model. -------------------- |

Due to the lack of longer ranged weapons, the army still needs to operate mainly in rapid fire range, but due to the smegged AoF rules, they don't have the punch to knock out the enemy quickly(Divine Guidance) or the ability to survive the counter attack(Spirit of the Martyr). dude at least you already had a army, i bought $400 worth of them in anticipation of this awesome release... meh oh well, ill learn to use them.

Well I must be a begger for punishment - had a pile of sisters sitting here for a while and am determined to get something out of them - there is a few things I don't mind but generally uninspired - still thats the challenge I guess.
