HI guys,

myself and chris Braga are meeting up today at parramatta gamecube for a few games of warhordes as well as hoping to meet some warhordes regulars there.

if anyone wants to give warhordes a go, feel free to PM myself or chris for a game or 2. (i live in mascot and chris lives in parramatta)

i have spare factions which i'm happy to let you use and learn.

myself and chris are both newbies so we know little but keen to get involve in their warhordes tournament scene.

you have to try it to know it, once you understand it, there is no going back. biggrin.gif

If I wanted to play a skirmish game I would play AoS tongue.gif

I'm struggling to understand the relevance of WA mining profits to a discussion about the masters for a toy soldiers game, but thanks for your input.

Why not play both?

Aren't 2 fun games better than 1 fun game? wink.gif

I would rather play malifaux for my second game. I like the models more.

I don't know Malifaux, I seen some people play it but don't know much about the game. You know me Roy, I love Warhammer, and I love DWARFS haha, but i'm happy to play another game too, but i'm also super keen for Warhammer AOS, I guess it comes from when I was younger I use to be obsessed with 40k and Warhammer so I have always played two miniature games. But i would love to learn Malifaux too Roy if your happy to teach biggrin.gif, if they are cool models I just love painting.

Dwarfs, boring? Never! I find shooting my war machines quite enjoyable.

Yes i'm THAT guy who loves watching Dwarf battle reports on Youtube.

I have some bad news for you.....There are no dwarfs in malifaux.

I haven't played it in about 3 years but would be happy for a game sometime. Currently though I just want to play AoS.

Are you enjoying AoS Roy?

I haven't played a game myself yet, but have watched quite a few batreps and they don't look overly interesting. I think I need to play a game first then make my decision.

you have to play the game to experience the game.

just arrange a AOS game, get some models out and play it yourself is much better than watching battle reports and reading posts on forum.

armata_PDT_07.gif What no Dwarfs... lol. Hey I'm up for AOS, I do like the combo idea but i'm so sad the gimped the Gyrocopters they were awesome for 1 year only!

But i am coming to the tourney day looking forward to it, but would like some catch up games to learn the new rules and combos.

I have played a few games with my dwarfs and gyros have definitely been gimped. You probably still need them for diverters, or delayers as they should now be called.

Thanks for the game, Chris.

Let's play again next week?

I found a warhordes group, they meet at gg townhall Wednesday night, and another group at gg burwood Thursday night.

Probably going to both next week if I have time.

Just came back from warhordes Wednesday at GG town hall.

Great bunch of guys, also meet andrew from rankingshq.

There are 6-12 players on Wednesday night every week, don't need to arrange game, just show up.

Many veterans and newbies, can start playing at any level.

lol gyros are amazing still

I had a unit of 4 take off 30 zombies in a round

I also took off 20 glade guards with 3 of them

Still toasty

How did you manage that with the steamgun, the reason they seemed to have been gimped is that for now you have to stop 3" away from an enemy and the range of the steamer has been dropped to 6", and since units are now skirmished it seems like you would only hit a few than more, so not worth it now.

it still gives you a 3 inch overlap so each gyro was hitting 10-12 if optimised.

combined with battleshock it can still be devestating

The bombers are terrible tho
