The .com.au links are throwing up security warnings for me in chrome.

They do for me at work, but it's due to SSL inspection we do. When you're trying to connect, are you behgind a firewall / proxy?

Also - will there be a BSS forum? Do we need one in the age of Friendface and Gumtree? I always liked buying and selling within a tight-knit community, but I understand these forums must be a pain to moderate - not to mention those forums are pretty much dead here. Still - if you’re taking votes, I’d like to see one.

There is a plan for one, I'm just trying to figure out if I can set it up so that people can create their own items in a "shop" that people can then purchase, or if I just have a forum like we do here where people post topics.

Niet - just normal connection on chrome.

Yay on BSS forum too - cheers.

Nope. The only thing that might be different for me versus others is using Google's dns to get around isp dns blocking.

It looks like the certificate is set for the .com address, but the .com.au alias isn't covered correctly. probably something to do with the redirect with the domains not matching (as the certificate for the .com.au site is for the redirection<host> address rather than for oztabletopgaming.com.au)

Maybe. I didn't do up an SSL cert for the .com.au addresses.

That's probably it then - considering that they all point to the .com address by the time you land on the site anyway, I don't think it's necessarily a problem.

Yeah, the .com.au addresses are configured to do a 301 redirect to the .com address.

I never got my confirmation email? Either main address or spam. Is "Borzag" in the system or should I try again?

I approved your account anyway a day or two ago. Might be worth checking the spam folder though.

*edit - turns out there was an SPF configuration issue on the web host which they fixed.

Thanks for setting up the new forums Krefey, a true labour of love and the lovechild that is WAU demanded soooo much

Spent a nostalgic hour or two last night looking over the forums. So much invested, so much time spent and the overriding impression is how freakin' earnest everyone was, there was an honesty even in the trolling. A code if you will. Banhammers worn with pride.

But all good things come to an end and having not visited the forums for over two years, life moves on.

fark there were some good times though.

Good luck with the new forums, they are still a better way of organising this information than FB imo.

Thanks Stu. I agree, forums are better for this than FB. Especially with the new updated features and what not the new forum software offers.

Where hes wrong is that we went into Iraq at the invitation of the government, not as an invasion.
Were in Iraq as the result of a democracy asking for us to come in there. Its not an invasion.
