Colour match for Vallejo Stone Effects Brown Earth! Options

If someone has already done the leg work on which of the Vallejo Model Colour or Game Colour range of paints is the closest colour match for the Vallejo Stone Effects Brown Earth...could you kindly deposit your knowledge below, thanks

I emailed Vallejo and asked them what was the closest colour match for this. They said Model Colour 875...which is the Beige Brown. I painted a bit of both next to each other on some white paper and once dried, it is fairly close...close enough for basing requirements anyway, in my opinion

I've found to have the base of the Warmaster High Elf strips blending well with the Vallejo Brown Earth on the base, I had to water down the Brown Earth to paint the strip with so it matched the base....which didn't work well....and the Vallejo Brown Earth is too difficult to manipulate close enough to cover the strip fully once it is glued to the base (or even before) without getting it on the mini's. So painting the base with a similar coloured paint is the best option in my opinion.

It's not a perfect match, but it is close enough to keep me happy.
