As soon as our shouting gets through to the TO biggrin.gif

I'm not quite sure when all the player packs will be live, it just depends on when we can get them from the TO's.

We will be bringing about five teams to the doubles event. What are the prizes looking like so far?

The amount of prize support we can get is based on the number of registrations we get for the events. I don't have the numbers yet so I'm not quite sure.

But the more people register and the earlier they do so, the better an idea we can have smile.gif

Any movement on the Fantasy players pack? Also will there be a combined registration available for both Fantasy events?

Fantasy players pack for 2-dayer incoming. TO has been having some idiot workmen cut his phone cable issues, but I have a copy and will post it on his behalf shortly.
Hope to have it accessible by Monday at the latest.

I have to admit this is a bit of an odd post. The prize support depends on the numbers of competitors.

But we provide a first place trophy for all but the smallest competitions and we provide prize support to every competition.

If you have a specific complaint, please PM me and can discuss.

Random troll is random?

I've been going to MOAB for nearly 2 decades, always found the retailers very generous in their support, and the MOAB crew spend a fair whack on trophy support too....

The prize support is given by the retailers and the TO do it for free, when people get a prize and that prize is less then the cost of entering. I been to other tournaments where the cost to enter was less and the prize pool was more with less competitors. The point I was making is that you don't enter a tournament for prize support and especially at MOAB as it is known for one of the largest tournaments with the smallest prize pool. Also I beat you by about 5 year I played rogue trader and went to 2nd edd tournaments.

Is the rental of the hall free? Is the insurance free? Geez mate, that a pretty poor attitude.

Unfortunately MOAB does have the costs of renting the hall. Also, MOAB does contribute to the prize support and purchases trophies.

However, MOAB has never reduced the rate at which we give prize support and trophies and it will never be just a handshake for first place.

We know we can't make everyone happy but if you have some ideas or comments, please feel free to contact us. We are constantly working to improve MOAB.
