Gday all. New member from south east melbourne (near Officer).

Looking to get back into wargames but not sure what to get out of Warhammer 40K or Warmachine.

Hi Jack! Welcome to WAU smile.gif

The Outpost gaming club should be pretty close to you - I think they meet every fortnight in Pakenham these days, and play 40k and Warmachine. If you get in touch with Mattmana, he should be able to help with meeting dates and other info.

Best way of choosing a game is to borrow a few models and try them both out... they both play very differently, so you'll want to test them a bit before buying into any particular system.

From what I have read up on, I can see Warmachine is fast pace. I like how customisable Warhammer is with the sculpturing. Thanks for the reply.

It's a little more of a hike for you, but the Ringwood Wargaming Club meets at the House of War in Ringwood. Might be too much of a drive, I'm not sure.
