WGoL is on a hiatus - our student membership declined to the point that we got rolled into the other gaming clubs. We've kind of packed up shop for now, and we'll see how we go. If you follow our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/wargamersoflatrobe/) we'll be sure to announce any triumphant return.

In the meanwhile, lots of former WGoLers are getting their games in at Gatekeeper Games in Fitzroy, Game Knight in Camberwell, and House of War in Ringwood.

a lot of us know each other pretty well and still game a lot
but with the uni moving us around there has been a decline in us actually using uni space and more gaming in private

a lot of warmachine players have been gaming in private for a while
and 40k is always kinda off and on (we play lots of systems but theres always some 40k)

but yeah as reuben said for the time being were on a bit of a hiatus (in terms of using unis space and running consistently)

that being said we're happy to answer questions if ur looking at new systems
as for playing warmachine and 40k in the mean time

well one of our members runs GW preston
not sure where the closest warmachine players would be dont think grots is running much either anymore
u have to start heading a bit east or west to find more clubs

in terms of shops bar from what reuben has mentioned ive heard KayJay's in footscray is ok
theres always a little bit at the various next level gaming but not a lot

Is Gatekeeper the closest to where WGoL was in Bundoora?

I work not to far from Kay Jays so am looking to give it a try, but I'd really like somewhere close by to where i live.
