No, the oval bases for the dinosaurs should be ok.
That said it depends what the dinosaurs are meant to count as. The smaller ones being used as Carnifexes will need 60mm but I Think the larger beasts proxying as the tyrannofex, tervigon and other such big gribblies are fine to be on oval bases.

And I wouldn't be so quick to refer to this as our Turf... That's what the SEBF site is for Kthnx?

To bring this thread back on topic a bit, have you considered playing some KoW Trent?

I bought a graphics tablet, so I have no money for anymore Mantic products. :/ However, if the game kicks off I may just consider buying some of their orks...

If I were you, I'd start saving pennies for them Orcses then wink.gif

I'm interested to see what they do with them in regards to their list smile.gif

I'm also wondering when the rest of the Abyssal Dwarves will get released as there is a few options on the list that are at this stage non-existant in terms of models.

I would be guessing a Defense of 4+ (maybe 5+ with Shields), and Crushing Strength (1).
Although that would make them pricey, and probably a little too similar to Dwarves.

I hope they do something different with them, and dont just make them "Green Dwarves".

Agreed, I'm not doubting they'll be tough but I think they'll be more offensive then they will be defensive so to speak. Probably make more attacks then similar units in other races would.

Interested to see what the goblins do to, I'm guessing they'll make for good flankers.

Perhaps something like Me 3+, De 5+, A 30-40 for a Horde.
Id be guessing they would have a low nerve, so Hordes might have 11?
The model they have shown has a shield, so maybe shields would increase De to 4+?

Orks aren't that impressive against Space Marines, but against Elves they should be able to beat the crap out of them in combat.
(Although bowmen are great in both shooting and combat, and cheap)
Will be interesting to see.

Just got all my Undead stuff in, time to assemble. smile.gif

Oh yeah, rules for the Orcs are up too.
Crushing Strength and lots of attacks with cheap units is nasty, will slaughter Undead in combat, but hopefully their Nerve will be low enough to deal with.
I think the only way Undead can beat them is with strategic counter-charges with backup units.
Elves, Dwarfs, and Abyssal Dwarfs i think will do well against them. Their War Engines will take them out fairly well.

Are any of you guys interested in getting the new Orcs?

Oh yeah, we have 4 Kings Of War players in Naracoorte now, so a road trip down there should be happening sometime soon. smile.gif

Dwayne has the green tide set pre-ordered so Orcs are definately a goer for at least one of our players.

As the afore mentioned Undead player, I'm a little worried.

Spam Balefires.
Lots and lots of Balefires. smile.gif
Can fit quite a few in a 1500 point list if you just run regiments.
I think its actually the only way that Undead have a chance of beating them though really, and even if they do spam Balefires they will still struggle to deal with a ton of hordes, even if they do have a low nerve.
