I was on the warhammer forum and read this post, really couldn't believe it was serious but who knows.
http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=83686 I was impressed that the response was sympathetic, mostly and constructive. It looks to me as 8th Ed has made finally Special Characters not so OTT. haha. Although I suppose it's depends on how you use them, could be a significant factor. Certainly not something you'd ever see in 7th ED. This post has been edited by nasher: Mar 3 2011, 08:22 AM -------------------- Obi-Wan: "So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view."

Honestly, teaspoon of cement. No, wait, that's Warmachine I'm thinking of.
Really though, if the 'challenge' rule is dragging you down, you need to play better. Unit champs, cheap characters, no issues. I didn't read all the feedback, but the guy sounded like an idiot. -------------------- Hampton Games Club

I read that too. Jimbo is that you? Negative. I don't find challenges that big a deal (although you have to watch for VHS...) -------------------- Warhammer 8th Edition Rocks!

So the dude is complaining about a fundamental rule that governs his army, and his total and utter ignorance of how it affects his game...
Genius. "I put my hero-level character into combat with a dragon and managed to score one wound but then, to my horror, it was revealed to me that the dragon had 5 more wounds. What gives?" |

I read the topic title and just assumed that this was a post by Jimbo. Dissapointed. People should be warned not to look at this comment with food in their mouth. Now i've gotta clean my comp screen lmao -------------------- Best quote ever Rojo: Being reduced to leadership 2 on Saturday night at Castle Assault and failing my Aura of Madness test from 6" away from the Jabberslythe whilst a Vampire Count watched on in the background.
From deep within the misty mountains sprang forth a goblin like no other. Tales of his beauty spread far and wide as did many a maiden. But all this was not to last and as in time he ran out of maidens to conquer and rather then convert he decided to look for fresh conquests. His name was Syphilis the Ladykiller and many a goblin flocked to his banner with the promise of wine, women and song. As news of his Waaaaaagh spread many of the armies of the old world gathered to protect their maidens virtues and in the case of the high elves all their virtues. |
