Hi,

I thought I'd share some photos of my Stone Age Hordes of the Things army.

I wanted to see how quickly I could finish an army, so I decided to paint and finish off the miniatures using the 'dip' method. I use Cabot's Interior Varnish Stain. I prefer this as it is water based. All of the miniatures, except one, are from Khurasan Miniatures range and the basing is loosely based on the console/computer game Farcry Primal.

The complete army.

Heroes - The fine fellow with the Smilodon companion is loosely based on the cover art of the computer game, Farycry Primal.

These miniatures are from Khurasan Miniatures. I decided to add some elements after watching 'Quest For Fire'.

Additional Warband elements will include some Neanderthal type miniatures. I am just waiting to receive them.

I seldom play games these days and have very little experience with HotT. Like my Arthurian HotT armies, I just enjoyed painting the army up. I am not too fussed by the make up of the army or the element type or how the army plays and may well change some of the element types over time or suggestions are made.
