Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to ask.
I am considering getting some of the Forgeworld Mark 6 Corvus marines (I think they were released in 2016?) (Link for reference https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-AU/Legion-M...us-Armour-2016) Just wondering if anyone has a photo with a side by side comparison between these and the original Rogue Trader plastic models (the ones from First Edition 40k). Note: this link (http://spikeybits.com/2015/07/then-now-plastic-heresy-vs-rogue-trader.html) shows the sprues from each version separately. - However I am after a side-by side comparison if anyone can help me out. The reason I am asking, most of my 40k collection is the old Rogue Trader plastic models (I like beakies), and I want to check if the forgeworld version would match my existing models, or if they would stick out like a sore thumb. Thanks in advance. -------------------- Active Member of NSW Northern Knights Wargaming Club

The Forgeworld ones are a fair bit chunkier than the old RTB01 Rogue Trader marines - they're closer in scale to the regular MkVII plastics, though the Corvus armour is a little bit skinnier.
You could probably use the Forgeworld figures as counts-as Primaris units, among an army of Rogue Trader models ![]() -------------------- [www.morsla.net] [WATT] [40k | Burn the Witch! | Alpha Legion | Harlequins | Inaryss Eldar] | Deathwatch]

I have some old beakies 2-3 squads worth painted as dark angels, and the remaining loose bits if you are interested

Thanks for the offer. I already have heaps of the RT beakies.
![]() I am actually thinking of converting some of the Dark Imperium Primaris marines to be more like Mark 6 armour. The main issue is the primaris torso with the aquila. If I cut off the torso and replace it with one of the original RT torsos they are just too small for the primaris legs. But the forgeworld mark 6 torso might just be "chunky" enough to replace the Primaris torso. -------------------- Active Member of NSW Northern Knights Wargaming Club
