Yeah Bunnings seem to have a metric crapload again. Take your Aldi ones back and get Bunnings ones, they fit perfectly.

Also the next run of trays have a closed cell foam base. This is more dense and means the trays maintain there shape better.
It should be a welcome improvement to the trays.

Thanks for the update Dan,

I'm in Thailand until the 26th Jan. Got to sort out some orders then. My order form on the website has been spammed to death so the server shut it off!

Anyone who has had issues with the order form, ie. no response, send an email to dtipping@mini-soft.com.au with your order and I'll sort it out.

Cheers
Dave

Haha, no I was not! That would be Pieres the hardcore gaming arm of Mini-Soft.

I have only just gotten back into the country and am furiously sorting out a backlog of orders, made more difficult by spam and random issues with my website and a lack of stock!

Fun times!!

D1ck Smith also stock a kind of 'deluxe' version of these cases which looks to be far more re-enforced for those of you who would like that kind of additional protection.

Does anyone know of a case that holds a single infantry tray? Like a Poker Chip case or something?
The purpose being that when you paint, you only need a single squad or two and a place to store a dozen or so paints. Having a smaller case would be ideal.

I like the size of one of the bigger auspost boxes, which fits 4 half trays in it snuggly.

I've also got a friend that uses cigar boxes with cut down trays for this purpose.

But really, find a case about the right depth at the reject shop or a hardware store and cut the tray down to size.

Hi Deansy,

I know of guys who cut a single infantry tray in half (they have a large space down the middle just for this purpose) and then put them in the small Auspost boxes. It's pretty much a perfect fit. That way you have space for some models you are painting and also some paints. Also it's a cheap solution.

Send me an email if you have any more issues dtipping@mini-soft.com.au

Cheers

If you are looking to buy aluminium carry cases in bulk direct from the manufacturer try the website;

www.alibaba.com

and type in aluminium carry case. It will give you about a months worth of listing to look through but you may just find the one you need.

A lot of the people listed on that site has websites as well to contact them.

Hope that helps.

Sorry it wont help the rest of us though as most minimum orders are at least 500 - 600 units.

Anyone in the Langrove area in Sydney know where you can get cases at the minute? I have a customer who can't din them at his Bunnings, so does anyone know of a supercheap or dicksmith or somethng servicing that area?

Cheers

Thanks for all the advice guys. Kinsman, are you sure that Bunnings don't stock them any more or are they just having an out of stock period?
