Ok, Ive worked out that with the figures that Ive bought down at Cancon I've got roughly 1600 points of US infantry (paratroopers), so now what I'm looking at is who plays it where.

I dont know of any gamers for FOW in the Illawarra (where I live), but I'm sure Ive heard of it at Southern Battlegamers.

But who else plays it?

I'm starting to blu-tac the figures to bases so that I can look at trying the game out. I've painted a few and am enjoying it so far...

But I think I need a game to see what the systems like....

I'm also a member at WSGS (although I play WARMACHINE exclusively) - but Ty is correct, FoW is probably the main game now played at the club. They supply tables, some awesome terrain (purchased at CANCON - amazing stuff) and they even have a club army for you to play with (Britz I think?). Well worth the trip.

The meeting dates for the club in 2005 are all actually on the WSGS homepage right here : http://www.westernsuburbsgamesociety.com/

Meeting Dates 2005

16th January , 6th February , 20th February , 6th March , 20th March , 3rd April , 17th April , 1st May , 15th May , 18th and 19th June (Weekend meeting) , 3rd July , 17th July , 7th August , 21st August , (NO meeting on Fathers Day) , 18th September , 15th and 16th October (Weekend meeting) , 6th November , 20th November , 4th December , 18th December

Cheers.

Good to see the guys supporting a new (and non-GW) game. Shame they waited until after I left the city, though wink.gif
