So guys my next game system I am excited about is bolt action, ww2 28mm by warlord games.
While I'm waiting for my rule book and 101st airborne to arrive I thought I would knock up a tile of ruins to fit into my Normandy table that you've seen me play flames of war on.
Hope you like the pics.
Oh and it cost me about $100 for a good sized army in this system. armata_PDT_01.gif

That's fantastic mate! How'd you do the tiles on the roof?

Also did you use GW weathering pigments or some things on this to get that "burnt" black look around the edges?

Cheers,

Chad

@ Dane not yet mate but soon hopefully sad.gif
@ Chad 95% airbrushed mate so second last step was a fine black airbrush bust of black around the edges.
The Airbrush absolutely rocks and I would encourage anyone who can to get one regardless of ability! armata_PDT_34.gif
Oh and the roof is plastic card fron Hobby ramma it comes like that.

What Rules did you go for? Rules of Engagement work very well for 28mm Skirmish

Modellers Warehouse has been around for a fair while. The guys pretty cool, he goes to allot of the model train events. I bought some of his ferns last year at the strathpine train show for an Ancients project i was doing at the time, nice products.

When all my orders come in I'll have at least 1000pts of Brits, Germans and US paras with the idea of demo/intro games galore to suck all you good folks in wink.gif
Its not an overly complicated system and if you buy on line its very affordable!
Just priced up an 1000pt army of FJ with a tank and rule book for well under $150 ohmy.gif
