Rules for the day:

1000 points - Core force naval (as per rules) up to but not exceeding 60% Large / Massive, 60% Medium, 40% small ships. You must meet minimum requirements of one naval large/massive one naval Medium ship/squadron one naval small squadron before taking a non-core - eg flyers/fortifications/allies/mercinaries.

No Dreadnought class models will be permitted. (Can not have dreadnought anywhere in the description!)

Each game will be played on a 4 x 4 table with terrain randomly generated before each round.

Victory points will be used to determine the overall winner. (Points will also be allocated for wins, draws and losses [to be determined])

Missions will be drawn by the TO and allocated to players - please bring your own mission cards.

Battlegroups are legal - eg you can utilise 'tally-ho' if you have the appropriate ships/groups.

No proxy models without prior approval.

Post any questions in this thread..

It is always nice to play well painted armies on nicely presented tables but at the end of the day its about playing the game - so joining in and playing is the most important thing, so paint what you can but dont be put off playing because your painting is still a work in progress

A big thank you to Darryl for organising the day and to whomever else made it possible.

I think I speak for the two guys who came down with me, that we all really enjoyed our games against new opponents to play and new factions to battle against. I didn't really question the other guys, but I think we played games without any real big rules interpretation differences.

We look forward to playing more D-Wars games down you way when we can get down there!
