Played Moncao last night with David (Elrohir), Gary (Daticus) and our friend Scott. Super-fun and a lot of laughs.

Pretty much every heist went off in exactly the same way:
- We'd scramble around out the front looking for weapons and items
- Someone would then accidentally set off said weapon
- Guards would come running at us from everywhere within earshot
- The next 15 mins is spent frantically just running and gunning, shouldering our way through guards to get our objective and get the ###### out.

Subtlety be damned apparently.

David was busy smashing down walls and making his own path through the level, regardless of whether there was a door right there or not and making a hell of a racket; Gary insisted on knocking every single guard unconscious, even chasing after them down hallways; Scott HAD to rob every safe in the joint whether it was needed or not, getting himself killed over and over and over again in the process (his reasoning was that we were thieves, and if we weren't robbing safes then we were just four lunatics running amok in someone's house); and me wearing a pretty much constant facepalm watching it all happen level after level.

Worst. Thieves. Ever.

But damn, was it funny. Highly recommended if you've got 3 buddies to play with.

That D20 was awesome! I'd love to have a replica of it, I'd only use it for really important attacks and skill checks though tongue.gif

I was reading an article that was advertised along side the one about the die, it was about a park in America dedicated to the memory of a guy named Jeremy Rochman and his love of D&D. I'd love to go there!

This new Humble Indie Bundle has a bunch of games worth grabbing: https://www.humblebundle.com/

Pay more than the $4.50 average and get access to more games as they are added, potentially twice as many if past bundles are anything to go by.

Just as an FYI for the Crimson Avengers, I have decided to name my new hammer ( The last one was called Avina btw). Sticking with female names and influences, the Mordenkrad shall be forever more called "The Fist of the Raven Queen". I am sure as a team we will all get our chance to seriously fist our enemies before the year is out. tongue.gif

Just to double check - are you REPLACING a weapon with the Mordenkrad? Because, just to let you know, Bane's not proficient with a Mordenkrad and is going to have a hard time hitting stuff with it.

If you're going to keep using the Maul as your primary weapon, just write 'Mordenkrad' on your equipment to save printing out a whole new character sheet. If you want to use the Mordenkrad anyway as your primary, let me know and I'll reprint the character sheet for you.

No I won't be replacing "Avina" yet. I would somehow like to sell my longsword ("The Separator") to Wembley but we're stuck in the jungle... Not really sure how that dynamic works out. I could always reluctantly drop the sword so I could have the "The Fist". I'll switch to it when I can hit something with it more times than not. smile.gif

I wanted to put a link to a funny Godzilla gif in here, but the link had the word "######" in it, and since Wargamer changes the word "######" to these hashtags, the link won't work.

######.

Well, just trust me, it was ######ing funny.

Our latest run of comics on Parental Guidance is probably something you'd all enjoy.

The three-strip run, titled "Sleigh Hard" starts here: http://www.pgcomic.com/comic/page/3/
