I was just wondering what people's thought were on using the new titans with epic miniatures, in epic battles? Do they actually fit the rules, scenery etc? I have a lot of the older epic miniatures sitting around and were going to combine them with the newer titans to create an epic army, that can be used for either game. Also how well does the new terrain sit with Epic. I only have limited game play (a very long time ago...). As to what miniature I actually own (not counting troop stands..quite a few painted but some new on sprue)

All these are unpainted/ unassembled

People have been using true scale forumware titans for years. I dont have models for comparison but I'm pretty sure they will be fine. 99% they were okay to use at cancon this year too.

Get the out and get some games. Epic is fun as hell!!!!

Excellent, that is good to know. I had seen on some other forums a comparison and they were very close to true scale. I really must actually put an army together and paint. Reading and research first to pick a colour scheme. Thanks replying so quickly.

Seconded. They work perfectly fine.

Cancon has 20 players and thus 10 tables of the usual great standard will be on display. Photos will be forthcoming re the sort of Tables/ Terrain common in Oz tourneys smile.gif

Nice, so do many people also base the vechiles? I imagine it helps with just moving them while playing and adds to the overall look of the army.

Quite a few do.

I like the aesthetics of based vehicles matching the infantry smile.gif

It also helps with transporting them. Mine are all based with magnetiuc tape/ use magnetised bases or rare earth magnets glued on them for the titans. All my transport cases I use have a thin sheet of S/Steel glued into them. Others I know use metal fishing tackle or tool boxes and magnetised bases.

Shogun Miniatures make a large range of magnetized bases of varying thickness and shapes.

Basing the miniatures also makes the army look brilliant. Adding different flocking, trees, and other basing details - sandbags, troopers, fuel drums, etc. Vanguard now make some neat base add-ons.
