Oh just one more clarification, Necrons Veil of Darkness, that allows me to deep strike instead of having my regular movement; for the mines scenario, how will that work out, deep striking is ok, unless you are DS'ing into dz, or if you move over 12" in the phase, as its not a "normal" deep strike from reserve...

Oh and one other thing, when attempting to buy the ticket online, it wants to charge postage?! Im assuming its a virtual ticket, and postage is not required??

Can this be looked into please?

Cheers,
Heath

Yep, abilities that let you remove a unit from the table and deep strike elsewhere instead of making a normal move such as Veil of Darkness, Swooping hawk skyleap power, SM Gate of infinity, GK librarian's summoning power (and any other similar ability I might have missed) are allowed and will count as deep striking in all respects. (So you will suffer a dangerous terrain check regardless of how far the unit ends up moving)

Also, whilst on the topic, units jumping out of a Valkyrie or Storm raven which has moved flat out will take dangerous terrain checks even if they do not scatter, as they deploy via 'deep strike' rules.

You can deep strike anywhere on the table, nothing stopping you from deep striking into your opponents deployment zone.

Only restriction regarding deployment zones is that you can't place your own minefield markers into your opponents deployment zone.

Yes, we still have places available. Hope to see you there. biggrin.gif

Edit: Looking good so far - have 18 players who should definitely be attending and I've currently got another 8 who have expressed interest. smile.gif
