Here's the link for the format: ITC 2015 Format

Cheers.

Seems like a well thought out set of guidelines, completely changes the games list building but at the moment so do most other tournaments.

Great tourney. Had a ball of fun.

+1 for ITC.

Also I wasn't a fan of the game scoring. I won 4 out of my 5 games and came third last. Maybe look at straight scoring. Ie. 1 for loss. 2 for draw 3 for win. Etc.

I'll be back for more next year.

What other aspects of the scoring were there made you score so low?

Were your wins small and losses big? were all your models painted?

They need to have differentiation of levels of victory otherwise heaps of people end on the same points...

Again, because it doesn't sound like im enough of a frontline gaming advocate..... ITC deals with this really really well.

I was waning on the tourney scene (with stupid knight armies last year and Maelstrom randomness randomly kicking me in the balls this year) until the prospect of an Australian tourney on the ITC circuit, I would pay a pretty penny to play in that.

If you didn't make it to turn 5 at all you're playing too slowly.

Unfortunately I had games vs a couple of horde armies that scored a handful of points early on and took 20+mins per turn to my 3-4 minutes per turn, made it hard to come back when we only go to turn 3 - which is probably the downfall of Maelstrom, and where a combination of eternal war and maelstrom would be the go (cough ITC cough)

Yeah, that can happen Ben and it sucks. The horde player needs to speed it up or play an army that can complete turns more quickly.

You know what? I give up, this is like playing chess with pidgeon. I'm going to leave while I still have enough brain cells to make the decision.
