Hi all,

Thanks for your ongoing support throughout the time I have been operating Mini-Soft. I've recently updated the site which is cool, but not so cool you will find the price rise!

Standard Trays and Sets are $1 more expensive.
Heavy Infantry trays have increased by $1.50 and sets by $5.
Heavy Cavalry trays have increased by 50c and sets by $5.

The reason for this is that my previous pricing structure actually made very little sense. Now there is an appropriate margin on all trays rather than just random figures pulled from my head.

As per usual feel free to ask any questions etc on trays. There will be more updates to the website after i finish my exams in a week or so.

Kind Regards
David Tipping

Yeah, done that twice but no response. Might try using a different email account.

Anyone know if they would sell 1 x 50mm deep heavy cavalry tray with 2 x 25mm deep infantry tray. I reckon this would allow me to house 120 infantry and about 6 vehicles in the same box.

Hmmm, the main owner is overseas at the moment, but the place is still being run... PM rathpex, or email sales@mini-soft.com.au (dont know if thats the address you were using).

They will sell you that combination, and I can tell you it works well in that configuaration, I use it in one of my Mini-Soft cases!

I have just bought myself some inserts from this company and here is what I have to say: BUY SOME NOW!!!

They are awesome, I was using a cardboard box and a plastic bag before this (plus a GW carry case) and it craps all over them when combined with a $24 carry case from bunnings.

Also when I enquired about postage Pieres told me he lived near by and i could pick it up that day!

Good product, well done. Right now I can throw my minis down a staircase in this thing and they wouldn't even leave the 25mm deep trays!

I can further reinforce the excellent product here on sale. I got some of these trays. 2 25mm infantry and 1 deep heavy cavalry trays fit in the same box. With a few slits here and there for long weapons etc, i've managed to hide the whole 2000 points of eldar and i've a whole spare infantry tray. Perfect!

Will be buying more from here for my next army. Do not go out of business!

May I suggest that you could probably find the source of bunnings tool boxes and go direct to source and buy without the fittings for much less. Then sell as a package? Of course postage would be more expensive I guess.

Thanks again for this!

Dont worry mate we are not going anywhere smile.gif

Sadly, it is a no-go for sourcing the toolboxes. Bunnings have a much bigger buying power than we do, they would get them cheaper than we would be able to.

In addition, to post the tool box costs a bomb! like 20+ dollars sad.gif

Thanks for the positive feedback

Pieres

Hey there Pieres, have you given thought about how best to house drop pods with your current foam range. I'm thinking it would need to be 2 heavy cavalry trays with cuts going through the top tray to allow the pod to fit. Interested to know if you've given it a go yet.

Hmm, interesting concept. Ill have to take an empty box along to a game club and see if it fits/what the best option is.

What im thinking is to maybe put it in a heavy cav and chop a standard infantry in half and turn it upside down. That way you can still utilise the other half of the standard infantry tray. I dont know if it will be tall enough. Obvoiusly the drop pod will have to be on its side.

Ill keep you posted.

Pieres

I ordered a set of trays from mini-soft, and I just have to say how pleased I am with the product. 2x Standard Infantry and 1x Heavy Cav tray and I can fit my fairly large Daemon Army in, with some room to spare. Another happy customer here. I rate Mini-soft and will definately be buying another set of trays when I need em'. armata_PDT_37.gif
