Hi Guys,

I am thinking around the following for 2019:

End March - 40K Tournament (Infernus) 1500pts 1 Day - Special 15th Year Trophies

June - Open Day and Honour Scrolls for key contributors presentation

September - Kill Team Tournament (Tallos Sector) 1 Day

November - Tumult 2019 X-Wing & 40K Tournaments

In addition club playing fee will be $12.

Your thoughts please...

Mid March would be better for me for a tournament day. Should hopefully have my brigade painted by then.

I am unfamiliar with 40k campaign books. In previous editions have they been worth getting and playing? Or are they just another book GW tries to make you buy?

If there are at least 3 other 40k players interested in playing Vigilus Defiant it can be something to look into. I will have to look into playing my Guard as a Genestealer cult.

Off topic: The campaign books aren't essential, there will be some stuff (ie. special detachment) in there for Guard to use in any format so could be worth it for you as a Guard player, they usually have some nice fluff/story & while the actual campaign stuff I haven't seen much of its usually just mission variants to run (though this one seems different to a lot of the previous campaign releases). So the "worth" is really up to you for $.
p.s. Start a new topic if you want to talk about it more, to keep this one on topic

I laughed so so hard, might be a little (*considerably) out of scope, but dream big!
