So what do we know about the world of DW?
I ask because the heavy steampunk feel of the game leads me to think of an interesting crossover between this and Malifaux.... deck battles in between fights to affect the equipment on board I can actually see it now in a way... Having Ramos on board a big Prussian cruiser with his constructs defending the guns from Vik or Von Schill... yay! Either way keep us informed on the development of this one Lukey -------------------- Mate I'll pay MONEY to sit there and watch Jose get Whupped..Never seen someone lose which such style! Damn.
Uncharted Seas is brilliant. Can't see this being anything but awesome. I like the mini concepts at lot more, too. -------------------- Adventures in Army Painter Soft Tone:

I HATE YOU!!!!!!!
WHY WON'T YOU LET ME SAVE $$$ ?????? But these are freaking awesome, hopefully if I start putting some dollars aside now I may be able to afford it. The 1/1200th scale puts it a half size to Uncharted Seas right? (they claim it's 1/600th) so either they are going for much bigger games or simply require more table space. My interest is definately aroused by the mention of Sea, Air and LAND being available from the outset. Steam punk tanks here we come!!!!!! Yeah, definately keep me apprised of the development of this one old chum. -------------------- I play at the Blind Pig Brisbane

intriguing!
But can the minis match the CAD images above? If they can this could be tempting. |

intriguing! But can the minis match the CAD images above? If they can this could be tempting. Given that the Uncharted Seas and Firestorm Armada mini's all look just like the CAD designs I think it's a safe bet that these will too. I believe Spartan Games have been very happy with their rapid prototyping, would explain why they have such a large number of new models coming out regularly these days. -------------------- I play at the Blind Pig Brisbane

Aside form Malifaux, this genre has been around for a lot longer. It looks like a variation on the Aeronef rules... in which case you could cross-over either rules and figures to the better system.

I think I will have to start a "Positive Abuse" thread in the Phoenix Forge, you guys just keep getting better at your affectionate slander.
I don't have any more info than what is in those pictures. It was actually a PDF that I screenshotted just so I could share this awesoem find with you all. I can say that I am interested. Almost a year ago I found out how cool and different naval combat was, and added it to my many-infantry wargames on my to-do-list. Demos...
