Wintercon is no comp I believe.

Wintercon player pack has a part on comp showing out of 5. Stock standard.

Seeing as how its an 8 person team and it looks to already have 6 people, will there be at least one place left for the rest of us to fight over?

Wintercon has no comp score, in the traditional sense. The 'comp' score is purely to make Paul's life easier when it comes to checking lists.

And by traditional sense you mean pheno? tongue.gif just being smart since wintercon is new!

Dallas and I can probably sort something out, so that we can both play if desired.

Al Knight
John Lampe
Brodie Middleton (although he is a maybe)
Luke Jensen.
Tim Neal
Nick Halbert-lillyman
Brad Scott
Dallas Kimber
Khrome Knight (Real name?)
Turkish (Real name?)
Zidi (Real name?)

edit: spelling

Confirming my interest!

Mind you, as there are 11 interested and only 8 places I would imagine that the lower ranked out of the 11 such as myself may have to see who does better at wintercon or something?

So In hopes to help organise ourselves, ill try to list the armies i know everyone has.

Al Knight - chaos space marines (khorne), tau, imperial guard
John Lampe - all of them (probably space wolves)
Brodie Middleton - Eldar
Luke Jensen - most of them
Tim Neal - eldar, dark eldar
Nick Halbert-lillyman - deathwing, imperial guard, blood angles
Brad Scott - space marines, imperial guard, probably more
Dallas Kimber - lots
Matt Tolcher - chaose space marines
Turkish (Real name?) unknown
Zidi (Real name?) unknown

if you have more armies that you can compete strongly with please reply to this and add them in

cheers
Luke

Thanks for all the kind words. Chevy was right I shouldn't really be playing for Queensland if I play in this event, so I guess if anything I should be playing for ACT.

To give a heads up though, I'd be unlikely to use my Eldar in a no comp tournament since they can't really compete against some of the builds in the newer codexes. I'd rather be playing Guard or Marines.

Keep the flattery coming please, I enjoy this thread. smile.gif

Added myself in luke. Sorry i should of introduced myself today, i was the one who came...tied second i think he said in the end. I was playing the dark eldar behind you in the last match.

Dark eldar is my only painted (Not to a high quality however) and tournament practiced army. I have a tyranid army in progress and a witch-hunter army i made purely to enjoy having a chance to play with tanks after my open topped paper planes.

I'm taking Grey Knights to Wintercon - I expect that these will be my preference to use, followed by post-FAQ Deathwing.

Now i have Bolded the (what i think is) people preferred armies. Looks like we are slowing peiceing this together, But i still need more info. Are there any other comptitive candidates that are not mentioned above that should be listed? If yes, what are their armies?

Cheers

I think Turkish is Chris Turk, who plays Chaos Daemons. But he can confirm that, and if he has other armies too.

I would slap anyone who thinks they want to take Chaos Daemons to a no comp event, particularly 6 months after the new GK dex hammers the final nail into the already half-buried coffin.
