The black knight bus is interesting, and should hurt.
I would suggest getting a champ for the ghouls to have the option of challenging out strong things, drop a ghoul for the points. I would ditch the skellies, they are woeful. Either trade them for ghouls, or even 2 zombies for each skellie would be better, all in my opinion. If you don't have the models, simply make each ghoul unit a mix of skellies and ghouls, will be very easy to recognise, esp if both units are the much better ghouls. I would suggest a small unit of wraiths for monster hunting and ghosty annoyance. -------------------- Warhammer fantasy 8th is awesome!

Yup the vamp lord and BSB in the BK unit could have been an interesting option. -------------------- Obi-Wan: "So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view."

What about the Lord and vamp powers I was trying to make heros that will make large amouts of undead and just grind the opposition down. if I had more points id put another vamp in the BK's. Are there any other good combos for vamp lords?

When i vary rarely run characters in my BK i tend to go the wight lord, soley for the fact that they have ehteral movement, if you put a none wight in the unit then they lose this, plus banner of the barrows get confered onto the wight as well.
In terms of lord combos, mine is pretty standard i dont like using up a load of points on characters. generally its lord, walachs bloody hauberk, dark acolyte, avatar of death, lord of the dead, black periapt then i normally chose either flying horror, book of arkhan, infinite hatred or walking death i tend to rotate between these 4 from event to event just to mix things up a bit this guy sits in a block of 20 GG with a wight king bsb the thing ive found with playing VC is your lists effectivness doesnt come down to characters combat power anywhere near as much as some other lists, it comes down to a few things mainly speed, manouverability, staying power and keeping your characters alive, your general is important!!! I know that even if i get in a tight situation as long as my characters are there to raise i can generally pull most losses back to atleast a draw. just my 2 c's, Hope that helps |
