First I would like to thank, everyone who attended EH and made it a successful first year, without your support it would not have been such a suucess.

I would like to again thank NSW Northern Knights for the table and organising the hall, The Combat Company, Iron Halo, and Stewarts Trophies for all their prize support and trophies.

I would also like to thank David, Simon, Luke, Andrew, Wayne and Chee for set up, managment and pack up. Without people like you, I will not be able to make EH happen.

Now the important questions to the players - what do you like better? where can I improve? and what else do you want to see. All feedback are welcome.

Denis

Great work Dennis, Just glad we are not packing terrain and boards into the van in weather like this.

Only suggest would have been to have prizes not just trophies for the winners, even if they were just minor.

And i think i would have prefered just 5 games, 6 seemed to drag on a bit, not that I did not love getting flogged like a dog by Kirby.... but would have been just as happy to call that game at turn 2, i think spite was the only thing keeping me going, ill make you roll those dice until the bitter end if you want a win.

You mean Krefey.

Cheers Dennis.

I liked pretty much everything.

My only suggestion would be to put objectives on each table that could stay there as opposed to having to place them every game or allow players to place the objectives before deciding deployment zones - this allows people to use some other tricks/tactics that they cannot in a fixed pattern obejctives game (such as chaining between 2, which then allows the opponent to do things like draw them off both etc).

Thankyou to all my opponents, and Simon i apologise for getting ######ty in ours, but such a bad start to the tournament just on dice does make one feel crap.

I woukld especially like to thank Mark for an incredibly tight and fun ass game.

Mate, You dont know the guys I normally play who carry on like small girls (part of the reason I like them). A bit of a hissy fit over dice is for some all part of the game. I think I only have 1 maybe 2 games out of the 6 that I felt i was above average on dice for, and even then it made little difference.

Nah the game vs Kef was a game, Kirbys was not it was a instructional video on how to kill daemons.

Simons own fault for taking daemons biggrin.gif

I played an army I didn't know well enough badly, I made a lot of bad decisions, I played against good opponents and had a lot of fun. Maybe more then a couple of hours sleep over Friday and Saturday night combined could of helped ? biggrin.gif

Nothing bad I can think of Dennis, quite well run.
