i have to say, the disclaimer for the whole money thing should have been bigger and on a front page somewhere for ANUWTF 2011, it doesn't bother me to much i just didn't know.
Also given one of the big justifications of the money for the club was terrain, the terrain at the event looked slightly old and battered, was the newer stuff not used, because it seemed sparse on all the tables with a lack any real "content" |

Turnout two days out from the army list due date looks to be about the same as last year, so ANUCON2011 looks like it should be a success again!
Regarding terrain: unfortunately our club's 40k terrain has always been better than our fantasy terrain, and we didn't have any money to update our terrain last year. Our plans for this year are to splurge on fantasy-capable terrain so there should be a noticeable improvement in the club's terrain for next year's ANUWTF For anyone who is interested and hasn't registered yet, you still have two days (until this Friday) to register and submit army lists. Even if you want to rock up on the day and play though, we should still be able to squeeze you in, although there will be a late score penalty for army lists submitted after this Friday. Actually - if you are going to come and haven't properly registered, email me please, to make sure I have enough (FREE!) food and drink for the weekend for everyone This post has been edited by MrMoo: Sep 14 2011, 07:47 PM -------------------- |

Getting all keen now, not long to go! Although, first tourney without my Dark Angels is going to be weird!

How did you determine Dougall as having the only perfect sports score? I see 5 people on 30 points for sports. I can see how he'd have gotten the award on countback though
Congrats to all the winners! -------------------- |

The score was calculated from the best 6 of 7 ratings, Dougall was the only one with 7 perfect scores
