Im not very good at hosting pictures and stuff but I can give you a run down on size.

Skarrd Harpy stands a head taller than the MERCS CCC Medic, half a head taller than Skarre the Cryx caster, same height as a new style Plastic GW Terminator. The Harpy is on a 30mm base.

The Buzzblade who is on a 40mm stands a head taller than the Harpy and the Golab stands a head taller than the Buzzblade.

They are all "grafted" so enhanced a bit.

The 2 more normal models are the Saber and Sister of Charity, they are the same height as a Harpy but thinner, like a Helldorado or Anima Tactics female.

Hopefully some of that makes sense.

If need be I could prolly email you a picture of some of the models directly.

That would be fantastic if you could e-mail me some picks in comparison to GW figs as I would get a much clearer view.

thanks for the e-mail. I am really impressed by the size of the figures. Pretty keen to get some of this even just to paint.

Does anyone know of a good battle report for this game?

I think it is time I sold some unnused marines and got into Dark Age!

Ancient One and I will more than likely be playing this on Sat at the Blind Pig on Brisbane's Southside.

A couple of stores are stocking Dark Age around Brisbane. Irresistible Force has single blisters.

If you are looking at playing something that no one else is, Dragyri would be the one atm but of course play what grabs you as it means you will continue and enjoy painting them.

I also picked up Outcasts, dang. Oh well, almost got Dragyhiri but despite that i really like the look, it was sooo many similar models to paint, and i bore of that easily these days.

Oh and Jose, it was Mongo that sold me on them too, aswell as the other brutes with concrete blocks for weapons tongue.gif So much class...

How many points do you guys play? What armies have you got?

What do you like about the game?

What don't you like about the game?

See previous posts.

I snapped up the last rule books that WarPuppy had for Dark Age. I'm starting to lean towards Dragyri as my force of choice. I'll collect the Outcasts as I really like the figures. Be good Necromunda proxies, it certainly has the feel of it.

had 2 games today with Simon, my brood vs his skarrd
first game was basically starter boxes and i got smashed
second game was 500 points and i came out with the win.

i rolled lots of 20's which = facepalm doom for me... but i also rolled a few 1's to hit which raped a few models.

definatly fast and brutal...both new to the game and the 500 point one took maybe 45 mins.

very very fun and unpredictable

Is it re-playable? Will it get old after a few tries?

Have any of you played infinity? How does it compare to that?

With Dragyrii, is it true that you need 3 slaves for each high born?

Yes it is true you need 3 slaves to each Trueborn.
Hopefully after this weekend I can give you a comparison between Dark Age and Infinity.

Where are the rules for Special Abilities? (eg. Elusive, Infiltrate etc...) I just read thru the rules (skipped fluff for now) and didn't find them. I was surprised to find full campaign rules though.

In the Forcelist book, or download it from the website, I'll bring my copy on Saturday.

I've also printed out every card for every unit (bar St Johann) that I will bring so people can proxy if they want to have a look at a certain faction or model. This weekends Pig that is.

Also have the Forcelist printout as well as templates, Specials and Weapon abilities.

500 was a nice point limit but I think as we get more confident I would be aiming for a 750. With some of the bigger units being 160+ is pretty easy to get up to 500-750 easy.

Oh, I looked for the Forcelists book but I got the impression it wasn't out yet. Didn't think to look on their website.
Thanks, got 'em all printed out now.
