I'd be keen for that, what armies would people be likely to bring?
However if we did want something more elaborate... Has anyone every played an 'Island' campaign? Its a great deal of fun... The idea is that you all start in a boat, with an agreed value of points (say 500) and you can make an army with those points. The armies general is 'You'. Then someone draws up a map of an island where the coast is 90% cliffs with only a selection of landing areas. Players then roll a dice to see in what order their (unarmed) boats arrive and can elect to immediately land or wait and see where others go. Once on the island you explore territory by territory, some territories have mines that allow you to expand your armies, others have 'mystic monuments' that generate an extra power die for you in the magic phase. Others are like a 'Spider cave' that gives one unit poison, or the valley of bone that gives a unit Killing Blow. Armies can also built Forts for themselves (assuming available terrain) to improve their odds on the defensive. |

I'd be keen for this.
We could use mighty empire tiles to make up the map & post pic updates on the forum to show where everyone is at. -------------------- Yeah... but is it art?
