[Infinity] Painting & Terrain, Post Apoc Terrain - WIP Shots of Table (09/01) Options Rating

Infinity has to be one of the best table top games going around at the moment. While I wouldn't refer to myself as an anime fan, I was drawn to the game through the amazing sculpts. Initially the rules can be fairly daunting and I'll admit that I was completely overwhelmed at first, but once you get the hang of things the game can be both really enjoyable and rewarding (well... as rewarding as sitting around a table playing with toy soldiers can be).

I'm currently in the process of collecting both Combined Army (the aliens) and Ariadna. I'm also building a large amount of terrain. So, I thought I would finally get around to putting together a modelling/painting diary to keep myself motivated...

i have to agree with enforcer i freaking love the latest morats mate, especially the witch soldiers, excited to see how the zerats turn out!

To be honest those Zerats are doing my head in! I want to come up with a colour scheme that is different to the 'official' one, but nothing seems to coming to mind. So I might be posting my Kurgat Engineer photos up soon instead...

On another topic - I remember seeing your Khainite Dark Elves at Convic one year. They're an awesome looking army!

Meant to ask you before, the oak leaves on your models, can you score them in Australia or do you get them from overseas?

They're from a company called 'Treemendus'. I haven't found many stockists here in Adelaide, so I had to find some on fleabay. If anyone knows of any stores stocking the range I would be happy to hear about it.

Your work is gorgeous. I love your colour selection and use of tone.

I am fairly unfamiliar with non-GW systems (shame on me, I know!), and the first thing that draws my eye to these latest pics is that several aspects of the sculpts appear to share features with GW kroot and vespid.

All good, as this is my first real experience in non-GW systems (played a lot of WFB, Blood Bowl and Mordheim... and a little bit of 40k). I'm Loving the change in rules (which are free to download - check out the Infinity thread on here for more info if you're interested), using D20s again, and the models. Actually I used to play Tau in 40k, so maybe that's why I was drawn to the Combined Army in Infinity... it's possible.
