I'm thinking of running the following event:

Hugs & Rainbows Con (thanks to Demon for the name)

- Saturday 17th december
- 10am - 5pm(ish)
- Infinity Games, 27 Gilbert Place, Adelaide
- 3 games, 1500 points.
- 4'x4' tables
- Imperial Armour allowed (including full IA lists).
- Custom missions revealed on the day
- No scoring
- Player's choice voting for best painted (from full field)
- End of day, vote for favourite opponent you faced and favourite army you faced (based on whatever criteria you like)
- Grudges allowed

3 prizes: Best Sports, Best Army, Best Painted.

So basically, like a tournament but without any win/loss scoring. Just a fun day of gaming, since December is pretty sparse. Honestly I don't expect a huge turnout so close to christmas, it's just a bit of fun.

They are currently on Currie St but from next week, they will be next door to the Pancake Kitchen, just off the corner of Hindley Street and King William Street.

Also, it's very specifically not a tournament since there's no battle scoring. It's a games day running in a tournament-like format.

I've updated the information at the start of the thread.

Originally I said "BBQ lunch" but I'm honestly not sure if they can set up a BBQ at their new location (possibly not as there's no balcony). I'll have to check if infinity are still catering for tournaments. If not then entry will be a few dollars cheaper and there's the pancake kitchen next door, or a 2 minute walk from rundle mall..

Also, we'll be playing on 4'x4' tables. Think of it as playing 2250 points on 6'x4', it's the same density of models! That way we can use the nice looking warmachine tables.

Cost would be about $10 by the way.

Anyone else able to confirm whether they can make it?
