Howdy Folks. The Man Cavers club evolved from an informal gathering of Warhammer players that has been meeting regularly at Haig's Man Cave for the last 18 months. We love the 'hammers, we love drinking beer and we thought we'd share our hobby with WAU. The PLOG will be a random 'download' of the various armies and other bits that our group and been working on from week to week.

I've been working on a Warriors of Chaos army since late last year. Progress has been fairly steady but with regular interruptions as my main tournament army, Dark Elves, has required a number of additional units painted up with the advent of 8th edition.

Chaos Chariot - flocking still to be done

IPB Image

You can never have enough of these...

... or these

IPB Image

I'm pretty happy with this Warshrine conversion - banner and flocking to be done

IPB Image

This guy is the reason I started the army in the first place. Pity you'd never run him in 8th ed.

It's pretty special getting to play almost every army, fully painted, on two massive tables with outstanding terrain. We really should do more batreps.

I'll post some of my gear up - but it's nowhere near the standard of Heath and Dan's work.

Love the Disc, personally. (I glued a horror to a screamer, and that's it. biggrin.gif)

Question: Dancing girl models are what now? They need to be on stage on my Emp's Children Super Heavy.
Where'd you score them, dude?

In the process of unpacking all my armies at my new house, will get some pictures going as soon as they hit the shelves of my shmancy new cabinet smile.gif

I know I see your army every week Heath, but again, they look fantastic mate. Your new nurgle lord model is especially unreal armata_PDT_37.gif

Just to wet the appetite, here is a WIP of my Greatswords Standard. Still need to add scrolls, some text, do some detail on the eagles feathers. The eagle will be holding a sceptre and a crown in its claws, you can see my planning pen marks,

It's kind of humid in Brissy at the moment so I have a whole lot of models waiting for a varnish. Including these gals. Once sealed they will get flocked (you only flock a witch elf if she's tied down and handcuffed biggrin.gif ).

IPB Image

I just finished these guys.
