Hi!
Long story short I used to play Warhammer as a young lad but after a decade or more away from the game I'd like to get involved again. I'm currently residing in Surry Hills so after asking about Sydney clubs in another thread I was very pleased to find this one located just down the road! Right now I'm in the process of putting an army together, I think it's going to take a month or more before I have 1500 points happening but prior to that I might drop past and watch a battle, if it suits of course! |

Hi there, after pointing you here from the general forum, welcome to the muppets. Most of us have 2 armies, so if you want an intro game some time (or even fancy the dark side of Malifaux - oo-er) I am sure we'd all be available to give you a game.
You may also see in other threads that we often have a general board game night on a Thursday, which you are more than welcome to attend if you want. -------------------- |

Welcome to the infernal muppets!
What army are you currently working up to 1500 pts? Also as was said in your other thread we generally organise games on the forums and dont have a particular day. What days are you generally available for games? As there are often games going during the week as well as weekends |

Welcome
Its always good to see another new muppet or potential one at least. By looking at other threads you'll soon see how things work. As Sam (Eudaimon) said many of us (not me) have multiple armies so would be happy to give you an intro game or two to get back into things. I'm not sure what army you have decided on but between us all we pretty much cover every army so once yours is up and running if you want to try out new units etc you should be able to borrow stuff no problem. Hope to see you around soon. Al |

Welcome
I also started up again about 6 months ago and still haven't really got either army together I'd be happy to give you an intro game some time at any points level. I'm usually around for a game or two on the weekends. |

Hi There!
Surry Hills means you can easily walk down to GW on Clarence Street. I am also in the process of building a new army, so a few games at a lower point level would be perfect for me. Also, I am not very clever so you can easily beat me and get more confidence playing Warhammer. Mikkel -------------------- Follow me on twitter for gaming chatter: mikragh

Welcome to the club,
Although I'm not playing very often it's good to see the numbers growing in the club. Tomorrow evening form 6pm I'm having a game against Roy, he plays Ogres and I play Tomb kings. Feel free to drop by and have a look, especially at Roy's army as mine is under construction... for way too long in fact... Cheers, Benoit |

G'day
I'm up for small games anytime As Sam said, we play Malifaux too, which is great considering the start up cost (15 for the rulebook and 45 for a starter crew) and, apparently at some point, Dystopian Wars. I also have 300 points of Infinity, but no one else is foolish enough to start up another system on top of all that Look forward to seeing you around. -------------------- 'I've never seen a bloke so happy to have his units destroyed' - said of me at Inferno

So I headed down to George St tonight to catch Benoit & Roy's match. I was a tad early so I had a look around the store, Malifaux looks neat and Warmachine doesn't look too bad either.
The Match itself was a great refresher course but I'm still a bit behind, there were a few moments there where I thought Benoit had it in the bag but in the end it was Roy who won. Thanks again for letting me sit in fella's. This post has been edited by Ganmaku: Nov 16 2011, 09:55 PM |
