Dwarves versus Beasts/Fiends Battle Report, Hordes of the Things game... Options

Hi all,

Thought I'd post another battle report, this time between a Dwarven army and a Beasts/Fiends army.

Dwarves comprised 6 blades, a blade general, a cleric (I feel a cleric suits them better than a hero, in some games I take two clerics), a couple of shooters, artillery and a warband.

Beasts/Fiends comprised 4 blades, 4 warband, 1 Hero (big red fiend), 1 Behemoth general (minotaurs).

All I can say is - poor blades - they fared very poorly against the hero. Also - I'm learning that risking your general in combat can make for short games.

The other day played a game with similar Dwarven army (swap artillery for another cleric) versus an Undead force with 3 Mages (1 general), 3 Blades, 4 Hordes and 1 Flyer - Dwarves did well until they lost their two clerics in combat.
