Welcome to CNSG.
We are a group of gamers operating out of the Northern Suburbs of Canberra, mainly in the Gungahlin area and have players for most of the major systems, although 40k is the primary system the group was originally started for. At present we have setup an email distribution list to organise games and we are also looking into a decent sized venue to host the group. The whole aim of CNSG is to provide more options for gamers in the Gungahlin area and promote gaming in the North. For anyone interested in being added to the email list, feel free to PM me and I'll add you. Id also encourage everyone who is interested to advertise for games on this subforum to keep things going. So let the games begin. Wilock Dread Pirate Impaled Phoenix Corsairs Dark Eldar -------------------- Something Wicked this way comes.

Im in Dunlop (Far West Belco), but my inlaws live in Amaroo and its only 10 mins drive so quite easy! I play 40K (DArk Angels, Blood Angels, Deathskull Orks etc...
I also organise and run big apoc games at my house 3-4 times a year... like, with 17ft of table space to host 50,000pt+ mega battles etc.... see my sig link, theres some batreps in there... So big or small, I'm keen for some gaming -------------------- |

Hey everybody,
I'm really new to 40K but looking for some games to get into the swing of it. I work a few hours a day, then have every weekend, afternoon, and night available and literally nothing else to do. I don't really have any way to host because I live in a shoebox, but I can travel. And bring snacks. Anyone looking to boost their ego by smacking around some space marines, let me know! -------------------- If you're keeping your cool, while everyone around you is losing theirs, you might not fully grasp the situation.

No regular meets as yet, still working out a good place that wont cost us a fortune to meet.
If anyone knows of a good spot, please let us know. -------------------- Something Wicked this way comes.

Scout halls tend to be a good place to go. -easy access -big open space for games and tables -fairly cheap for hire the only problem would be actually getting tables to play on and terrain etc etc... For those of you that are interested:
Good Games Canberra (It's a hike from north-side, but worth it) Canberra Games Society - Large number of 40k gamers already ANU wargaming society - Plenty of space and pre-existing 40k community. No need to be like the french resistance. Fold yourselves into these three and you'll never go a week without a 40k game - I know from experience. -------------------- Vulkan's Corner

You can normally find a game if you're able to get to the ANU on Sunday nights.
and if you're able to get onto the mailing list, you are typically able to organize a game on thursday nights for the CGS as well. GG is a case by case basis. -------------------- Vulkan's Corner
