Interesting, changes are:
104 pts (both versions) Heavy Flamethrower and a DEP +1 PH (18) Was there something wrong with it to begin with? Whoops! Missed the link... http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity/en...profile-update/ This post has been edited by Richard: Mar 20 2012, 09:00 AM |

Where are these changes? Army lists download off the Infinity website (under downloads). The army list for PanO has the new entry in it now. If you play PanO or play against them, redownload the lists for the new profile. -------------------- Not sent from my Lumia800 using the microwave as a proxy server.

There were two main things wrong with it -
1) The loadout was incorrect as it was for fire support, not assault as intended 2) This led to certain players camping the jotum behind Total Cover at the back of the table and just spending all their order on speculative fire to carpet the table in grenades. |

None, unless you count the swap from HGL to Heavy Flamethrower and DEP a disadvantage. The changes are exectly as I listed in the first post. It used to be 110pts.

While it may be a bit chaotic to get these updates, I love the fact that CB makes these changes when required.

Heavy grenade launcher to heavy flamer is a change I am happy with as a non pano player, I rate HGL fairly high

I'd prefer to fight a HGL... especially a more exepensive one.

Wow this is unprecedented. They didn't keep the nice Hgl option, the kept the inexplicable AVA2 they made the lieutenant option more expensive in SWC which is a disappointment. I'm not sure about the loadout. We have enough vheavy lamer TAGs and i cannot think of many situations where the DEP will be chosen over the multi HMG.
Overall I am disappointed but at least the model is WYSIWYG now -------------------- I love the smell of Dragon Fire in the morning. It smells like... Victory!

The jotum losing the HGL is meant to be a balance thing apparently, they are too expensive pt-wise to have more then AVA 2, and the increased in Lt SWC is in line with other TAGs.
They ended up cheaper and with a slight stat boost, which is surely another positive for pan0. I wonder what other units will get a revision? |

At least now I can run a hacker, engineer or doctor with my 2 Jotums and 8 fusiliers!
2 Jotums 6 fusiliers 1 machinist 1 Doctor 1 Palbot OR 2 Jotums 5 fusiliers 1 machinist 1 hacker 1 palbot Something like that. What do you say Sam? |

How many points is that?
Can I fit 20 Military Orders on the table against it? Also, Svarlarheima Sectorial has to come out sometime. So Hospitallers and Nisses...what would their basic troop be do you reckon? Probably get their own complete with skiing jackets. -------------------- Adventures in Army Painter Soft Tone:

The Jotum losing the HGL, means that the Armoured Cavalry now has a unique roll, as it was there was probably a bit to much double up there already with only points value making them a different tactical choice.
So as a Pan O player not terribly concerned, I don't understand the DEP though, the Multi HMG is going to be better in most circumstances, a panzerfaust would have been better. This post has been edited by MazingaZed: Mar 22 2012, 11:52 PM |

I think the DEP is there to justify the bump on the shoulder?
