On the 29/4/12, The Newcastle Legion Club will be putting on its first Warmachine and Hordes event and I have been suckered in to hosting (who am I kidding, I love the attention).

It will be standard 50pt SR2012 with the following exceptions
- No Reinforcements. The only reason being is because it's complex and I'm lazy. Plus adds to round times and would prefer the day to run on time and finish a bit early so people can get home at a reasonable hour. If people are REALLY keen, I can do it.
- PINK DICE! Once (and only once) you can call the TO over and request the Pink Dice. You can use this to reroll any SINGLE dice (including a reroll). Really need to get that crit effect on a caster? Call the Pink Dice. Failed a tough check? Call the Pink dice. You can even make your opponent reroll one dice. Once you have called for the Pink Dice, you get to keep it. Makes a great 'column' dice.

On top of the tweaks to SR2012, I will be setting the day out so there is plenty of time between rounds to enjoy the awesome facilities of the Legion Club. It has VERY cheap beer and there is FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE at lunch time for the tourney players.

Tickets will be $15. Hobby Hub has come on board as the sponsor of the event and will be providing prize support. Your ticket to the event includes entry to the club day, your Pink Dice, the free lunch. A portion goes into hire fees for the hall, the rest goes into prize support. Speaking of Prize support, I have always been a firm believer in the idea that anyone at a tourney can get a prize, not just the champion so I will be doing a "Lucky draw" prize using tickets. You can earn tickets the following ways

- First WM&H tourney - 2 tickets
- From out of town (Cessnock guys don't worry you count tongue.gif) - 5 tickets
- Using a Battle Engine - 2 tickets
- Painted Battle group - 2 tickets
- Painted army - 5 tickets
- 1st time at the Newcastle Legion club - 5 tickets
- Brought a friend for their first visit to Newcastle Legion club (does not have to play in tourney) - 5 tickets
- Member of Newcastle Legion - 1 tickets
- Member of Gallipoli Legion club - 2 tickets

We also have a house rule amongst our garage games across Newcastle, Mick Fair always loses. Trouble is, we have trouble enforcing it so we are calling on the wider WM&H community to help us
- Beat Mick Fair - 3 tickets

Depending on the number of players will depend on total prize support but the Lucky Draw Prize will be bigger than the prize for the winner. If we get 8 players there will be 2 Lucky Draw prizes, 16 there will be 4 etc etc.

The event will be capped at 4 rounds, if we have more than one winner so be it, they both get prizes tongue.gif

Aiming to have everyone there at 9.00am for registration for 9.30 kick off and have everything completely wrapped up by 5pm

Post below any questions, comments or registration

I've had a few people ask me about the "two lists" option. It is optional to take two lists, you DO NOT have to take two lists
