sorry to wake a sleeping dog. But I am surprised at some of the early reaction of people expressing their offence to horus theme. I am not offended in the slightest that someone can draw a line connecting 1940s Nazi Germany to the imaginary of the 40k universe. Especially the Steel legion. Go back and read some of the fluff surrounding the 40k universe.. Eugenics and mass extermination anyone?
Seriously does anyone really believe the races in 40k demonstrate amiable traits?
And if its ok to plaster swastikas on a panzer tank in FoW, then why cant it be acceptable here?

Anyways great paint job horus!!

Very cool, Wes. I have an Afrika Corp army of space marines. I chickened out a bit and took the one part of the German army that didn't field SS. Historically, there were a couple of SS dudes at the Tunis HQ but none made it on to the playing field, so to say.

Once you added the green to the cloaks your figures looked much better. They were too dark before but now they look genuine. It also allows all the fine work around the extra equipment to show up. Very impressed!

When are these guys hitting the table?

Love the psykers. Could maybe go an extra highlight on the skin tones to go that pallid white look? Thats just taste though. Otherwise they're rockin.

Loving the work as always, especially like the paper trail on the back of the tank. Should totally put 'die bart die' on another. That way people will know that as germans, your armys not evil wink.gif (anyone that doesnt get that needs moar classic simpsons in their life)

otherwise spectacular work, though I must say Im worried for your psykers.... The only guys in blue that can seriously hurt alot of people.... Get the feeling their gonna need a chimera so they dont get shot too much.
