hmmm, not a huge fan tbh. don't like the rocky protrusions everywhere, especially the face / beard.

It's not in the same pose as Mulg at all!

I guess it's similar to the extreme mauler? or the classic blitzer? Vaguely, in either case.

There is already a thread about this on the Gaming Rumours forum, but since not everyone checks there, maybe we could legitimise this thread by talking about rules.

Anyone heard any?

Ala the Warmachine ones, are they likely to have reach and an innate thresher style power attack?

Are they going to count as Warbeasts in Battlegroups? The Skorne one is sounding like a massive Titan as well, so it's going to be interesting to see if the full spectrum of Warbeast buffs can be applied to them... Rush + Abuse + Enrage anyone? smile.gif

Have to say that while it's an awesome model and i'm going to buy one to paint if nothing else. I'm a bit disappointed. It's a big burly Troll that walks in and punches things in melee. Gee privateer thanks i was really having problems filling in that niche in my list.

I was hoping when we saw the teaser for him that he'd have some weapon platforms chained to his mountain or something along those lines, at the very least I hope that he's going to be throwing some big AoE 4/5" boulders around the place, because otherwise i don't think i really need a Huge base that be shot from anywhere by anything and just walks slowly into melee.

You know - I don't get this. This is the WM/H area on the forum. I don't want to look elsewhere. having all those new releases in that other area is stupid. If we can't talk about new releases in this area, what are we left with - I mean this place has been pretty dead lately, once the trent bashing lost its steam. I personally vote everything being here, and getting some conversation going.

That said - Big Troll. Looks cool. Show Woldwrath.
Every single collossal/gargantuan has been unreal so far.

The Skorne one is a Mammoth, i beleive the current NQ mentions the names for the Hordes Collossals, it's in the Monsternomicron II.

Basically huge elephant, scales, lizard like tail, no trunk and a 'stegadon' type crest on the head(no horns though)

I think the mountain king will have an ability to spawn extra whelps, better snacking, judging by the fist smashing into the ground an aoe knockdown, some kind of strength animus and probably a stupodly good trample, all with strength 20

Doug Seacat has said it's not the same creature as the one in the witchfire trilogy and the IKRPG.
