JD seems like a good way to get my necrons kick started, only problem is my bigger list doesnt scale well to 750, so i pretty much got to start from scratch anyway..
Vargard 10 Immortals 6 Immortals Triarch stalker 4 Scarabs 2 Canoptek spyders 742 Seems to cover all the bases, should have enough anti tank for 750 with decent anti infantry but seems a bit fragile to me, but that could be jsut because i havent played that many games with necrons yet. I thought about having a barge lord instead, but i think that would be too harsh perhaps. So thoughts? too hard? too soft? |

If your not planning on using a Royal Court, getting a Destroyer Lord would the way i would go imo. They rock at lower points games, for the same points you can get a 2+ DLord with mindshackles.
The Barge lord would also be a very good choice, and as you scale your crons definatly get at least one they are the best HQ unit hands down. The triarch stalker seems a bit out of place with only 16 immortals, i think 750 pts is a bit too low to use one. Swapping in an Annhilation Barge and beefing the immortals out will dramtically increase your firepower. Something along the lines of Destroyer Lord, Sep Weave, Mindshackle Scarabs - 160 10 Telsa Immortals - 170 10 Tesla Immortals - 170 4 Scarabs - 60 2 Canoptek Spyders - 100 Ann Barge - 90 750 pts Solid Firepower, some counter attack in the spyders and DLord. Dlord also gives you a fast threatning unit that can also tank hunt in a pinch. This post has been edited by Scarab: May 4 2012, 12:33 PM -------------------- "We are the Necrontyr. We are Legion.
