Can't seem to find a mention of it in any of the IA9 or IA10 page reference would also be baller if you have one -------------------- "Though my guards may sleep and ships may rest at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire." Missed that part, though it appears that they were only involved in the final assault on Badab itself. -Dono -------------------- |

I am building my Black Templar and Imperial Guard to be a combined Tyrants Legion in Apoc games, looking forward to seeing more out there! Cheers Dono -------------------- |

If you were to get to an apoc sized Tyrants Legion, I am pretty sure that you could fluff in a Titan somehow buddy! Neg, trying damn hard to keep it as true to the fluff as I can... I think I'm pushing it as is to have Hydras in the army. I have justified everything else, eg the Medusa/s are there because during the end of the war Huron commanded that they (in addition to basilisks) be used as stop gap measures to combat enemy super heavies and assault vehicles. The crews of these formations, however, had a 100% fatality rate. Chimera spam is because Huron had been stockpiling arms and armour for many decades for his 'final' crusade. (this is a bit of a push as it is because Huron ordered as many chimera chassis as possible to be retro fitted with bigger guns) The Vendettas are getting some cool conversions I found online to make them more like and Arvus Lighter. But a Titan may push it to far out of the fluff realm I'm trying to keep for it, after playing 3 editions of guard I finally feel like making a theme army (and get everything painted) ++Edit++ I might actually Blog this as an incentive to get it done before the next tournament I attend in July This post has been edited by doddguy: May 17 2012, 09:50 PM -------------------- "Though my guards may sleep and ships may rest at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire." Not going to use the Tyrants Legion army list? I know it is soft but it is fun to play.

Not going to use the Tyrants Legion army list? I know it is soft but it is fun to play. -Dono Only Marines I own are GK and they look out of place, It'll one day be fielded as Tyrant's Legion but as no tournaments around these parts allow FW (something to do with all the crazy shiz that you can bring and pull out of your .....) At this point I have no overwhelming desire to get the marines to make it full Tyrant Legion but when we get around to have the full Campaign (we have about 5-6 of the Armies that were present between 4 of us) it will most certainly be done... Lufgt Huron and his Sternguard of melta goodness and 3 Retaliator squads with hordes of Auxilia acting as faithful bullet shields. Positively Delicious. -------------------- "Though my guards may sleep and ships may rest at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire." Lugft Huron, Tyrant of Badab |

considering having a play with this list, run the Dark Angels and DKOK armies together as a Fallen + deluded IG army. How does it play?

considering having a play with this list, run the Dark Angels and DKOK armies together as a Fallen + deluded IG army. How does it play? At a competitive level it is crap, especially if you arent allowed to take the flyers (which most tournament wont allow you to do). Its main problem is that there is virtually no Anti Armour firepower in the list at all, and honestly a lot of the unit costs are not cheap. From memory the only Lascannons you can bring in are Leman Russ Annilihators (spelling?) which arent too bad at all but they are your Heavy Support slot which is full of your artillery goodness. Likewise if you take a Legion Cohort then for each one you can bring in a Codex Space Marine Heavy Support like Preds, Devs etc, however same problem remain... only 3 heavy support slots. If you could take flyers then you can bring in Lightnings and/or Thunderbolts. On a fun and fluffy side of things, however, it is an awesome list which is great fun to play, especially when you use the IG component as meat shields!! I have played three games with it so far but didnt have any armour for any of those games (lack of models at that point), and lost all three games, but had a ball playing them. -Dono -------------------- |

Who needs Lascannons when you have Medusa Squadrons roaming around (Str 10, AP 1 and 2D6 armour pen) You can also take 2 ML in a squad of 10 legion cohort, hide them behing the Auxilia and go tank hunting -------------------- "Though my guards may sleep and ships may rest at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire." Its your legion mate.
Your force can comprise elements from the entire campaign/s. Im not familiar with it, apart from the current CSM Huron. I say, if you want titans, take titans. -------------------- There are over 200,000 words in the English language. You can chose the ones you want and put them in any combination you see fit and it won't convince me to stop posting what I want. You see, *points at head* the circus is always dialed up to 11 and it never stops.
